Lead Python Developer in the EU

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience with leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, Django, and DRF.
• Experience working with JavaScript and React.
• Experience with complex relational data modeling.
• Understanding of permissions, RBAC, and object-level visibility.
• Strong architectural judgment.
• Strong automated testing practices using pytest, factories, contract and integration tests.
• English proficiency at B2 level.

• Leading architectural decisions for the schema-driven application layer in collaboration with client Product and Engineering teams.
• Driving the concept phase, including prototyping, validating architectural approaches, documenting findings, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
• Acting as the primary technical contact for the client, coordinating task allocation, leading demos, and representing the team in meetings.
• Reviewing Backend and Full-Stack Engineers' work to ensure architectural consistency.
• Leading and personally delivering the most complex full-aggregate module migrations.
• Defining and driving the contract-testing strategy using golden fixtures and ensuring backward compatibility with the legacy REST API.
