The role involves building and maintaining web-based operator interfaces for mission-critical Air Traffic Control systems, with collaboration across teams including colleagues in Iceland.

Wymagania

  • University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Professional experience building production web frontends with TypeScript and React or comparable component frameworks
  • Strong command of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and browser fundamentals
  • Experience writing automated tests including unit and end-to-end testing (e.g., Vitest, Jest, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tooling such as Jenkins and GitLab
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
  • English language proficiency, both written and verbal

Nice to have:

  • At least 3 years of professional software development experience
  • Familiarity with modern build tooling like Vite or Webpack and modular or plugin-based frontend architectures
  • Experience with state management at scale (e.g., Redux Toolkit) and component libraries (Mantine, MUI, Chakra)
  • Experience with data-visualization or mapping libraries (D3, MapLibre, Leaflet)
  • Experience with real-time data (WebSockets) and desktop delivery via Electron
  • Strong eye for accessibility, usability, and performance in operator-facing UIs
  • Background in ATM/ATC domain is a plus
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • User-centric approach and willingness to learn

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features
  • Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces and reusable components for real-time operational displays
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Review code and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices
  • Test, debug, and improve software throughout the development lifecycle
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of production systems
  • Assist with writing operational and technical documentation
