The role involves building and maintaining web-based operator interfaces for mission-critical Air Traffic Control systems, with collaboration across teams including colleagues in Iceland.
Wymagania
- University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Professional experience building production web frontends with TypeScript and React or comparable component frameworks
- Strong command of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and browser fundamentals
- Experience writing automated tests including unit and end-to-end testing (e.g., Vitest, Jest, Playwright, Cypress)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tooling such as Jenkins and GitLab
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
- English language proficiency, both written and verbal
Nice to have:
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience
- Familiarity with modern build tooling like Vite or Webpack and modular or plugin-based frontend architectures
- Experience with state management at scale (e.g., Redux Toolkit) and component libraries (Mantine, MUI, Chakra)
- Experience with data-visualization or mapping libraries (D3, MapLibre, Leaflet)
- Experience with real-time data (WebSockets) and desktop delivery via Electron
- Strong eye for accessibility, usability, and performance in operator-facing UIs
- Background in ATM/ATC domain is a plus
- Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- User-centric approach and willingness to learn

- Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces and reusable components for real-time operational displays
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Review code and contribute to shared engineering standards and best practices
- Test, debug, and improve software throughout the development lifecycle
- Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing improvement of production systems
- Assist with writing operational and technical documentation
