GenAI Tech Lead

KODA develops a proprietary AI platform, delivering GenAI solutions for major Polish companies including TVN, Żabki, Biedronka, and Santander Consumer Bank.

• Strong commercial experience building production solutions with LLMs
• Deep knowledge of capabilities and limitations of various LLM models and selecting them appropriately
• Practical experience with RAG, context engineering, tool/function calling, and solution evaluation
• Ability to analyze model quality, speed, and cost for decision making
• Solid software engineering background
• System-level architectural thinking and decision making accounting for long-term effects
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions with clear communication of possibilities and constraints
• Proficient in code and capable of verifying hypotheses through PoCs or implementation
• Comfortable working independently and solving novel problems without ready-made solutions
• Nice to have: experience with Voice AI, especially voicebots, STT/TTS, streaming, real-time processing, or latency optimization

• Determine the best architecture for specific AI use cases
• Analyze and address voicebot latency issues
• Compare and evaluate different LLM models
• Decide when to use prompt tuning, RAG, or architectural changes
• Translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate their capabilities and limits
• Lead implementation of chosen AI solutions
• Prototype and validate technical hypotheses through PoCs and implementations
• Design and develop new platform features while assessing their impact
• Maintain implementation quality via code reviews and support complex technical parts
• Collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to AI solution quality, latency, hallucinations, context, and reliability
• Make decisions on RAG, context engineering, tool/function calling, and structured outputs in LLM architecture
