Technical Writer

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in life sciences, biotech, or SaaS environments.
• Experience writing documentation for regulated environments or software qualification/validation contexts.
• Exceptional capability to translate highly technical, complex concepts into structured, user-friendly language.
• Familiarity with modern documentation platforms such as Confluence, GitBook, or similar systems.
• Proven track record of working effectively within agile software development teams.

Nice to have:

• Prior exposure to Benchling, bioinformatics, or laboratory informatics platforms (LIMS/ELN).

• Create and maintain comprehensive end-user documentation including user guides, release notes, and FAQs for the Benchling–LatchBio integration.
• Ensure all documentation meets strict qualification requirements and supports ongoing validation and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to gather technical details and translate them into clear, accessible content.
• Continuously review and update existing documentation to reflect product updates and functional changes.
• Establish, implement, and maintain company-wide documentation standards, templates, and version control practices.
• Support qualification processes by ensuring all documentation is audit-ready and fully traceable to functional requirements.
