Platform Engineer

Grupa LUX MED is an IT environment with nearly 700 specialists who develop, implement, and maintain IT solutions supporting medical professionals and clients. The IT team works with agile methodologies, embraces new technologies to support business growth, automates processes, and fosters knowledge sharing.

• Minimum 4 years experience as Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, or DevEx
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns and engineering standards including microservices, event-driven, and API-first blueprints
• Experience with AWS or GCP services covering networking, compute, and managed services
• Experience with Backstage or similar developer portal tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo CD and pipeline optimization
• Experience building developer platforms or internal tooling
• Proficient with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker)
• Experience designing and implementing observability standards including metrics, logs, and traces with tools like Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK
• Experience defining quality gates addressing testing, security, and code quality
• Basic experience with AI tooling in SDLC such as Copilot, LLM integration, Bedrock, Vertex AI is a plus
• Platform thinking mindset focusing on simplification, standardization, and automation

• Design and develop developer platform
• Build and evolve developer portal (Backstage) including service catalog, golden paths, self-service
• Standardize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Argo CD including quality gates, governance, automation
• Implement AI-assisted SDLC approaches (integrations with Bedrock, Vertex AI, automation)
• Standardize logs, metrics, and data quality across pipelines
• Define and implement quality gates covering tests, security, compliance, and code quality
• Develop self-service mechanisms for deployment, provisioning, and observability
• Implement security-by-design including IAM, secrets management, and supply chain security
• Automate infrastructure and service provisioning using Infrastructure/Platform as Code
• Collaborate with product teams to simplify processes and reduce time-to-market
