BI Analyst in Technology & Innovation

• Strong experience with Power BI development.
• Good SQL skills for data querying and validation.
• Experience designing and maintaining semantic models.
• Good understanding of DAX and data relationships.
• Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Strong understanding of reporting best practices and data visualization principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with data governance.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Familiarity with AI tools.

Experience:

• Approximately 3 or more years in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Analytics.
• Demonstrated experience delivering Power BI solutions to business stakeholders.
• Experience working directly with business users to define reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of maintaining and improving semantic models and reporting assets.

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Build and optimize semantic models to support scalable self-service analytics.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and KPI requirements.
• Translate business needs into user-friendly reporting solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to reporting standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data models, and user adoption.
• Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to enhance data availability and quality.
• Provide guidance to end users on effective use of reporting assets.
• Support end users' data queries through the ticketing system TopDesk.
