Data Engineer - 6 month contract (remote)

FYUL is the engine that powers on-demand commerce at global scale. Formed in 2024 through the merger of Printful, Printify, and Snow Commerce, we provide technology, talent, and infrastructure to support creators and large entertainment brands with merch production and global reach. The Finance Data team supports transactional data ingestion, transformations in Snowflake, reconciliation for Accounting, and Looker reporting.

• 4+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering, or 3+ years with strong financial or transactional data experience
• Production experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse and advanced SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with financial or transactional datasets such as reconciliations, ledger data, revenue, payments, or billing
• Proven track record of independent delivery after onboarding with adherence to externally fixed deadlines
• Strong written communication skills and comfort working directly with finance and accounting stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Prior exposure to audit processes or audit-adjacent delivery including documentation discipline and correction traceability
• Experience developing Looker Explores, views, and LookML models
• Experience with revenue data warehouses or ERP-adjacent pipelines (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience with dbt or comparable transformation frameworks
• Experience using Python for data tooling and automation
• Familiarity with e-commerce or print-on-demand business models

• Own and deliver reconciliation deliverables for Accounting, including wallet balance reconciliations and duplicate/missing transaction detection
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies from Accounting and auditors with documented root causes
• Build and extend Snowflake transformations supporting audit deliverables and corrections
• Extend Looker models to enable Accounting self-service including merchant-level data extraction and reconciliation views
• Work directly with Accounting stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver audit-ready outputs on fixed deadlines
• Document all delivered data pipelines, corrections, and edge cases throughout the engagement

This is a 6-month full-time contract role, with possible extension depending on project needs. Remote work is required with working-hour overlap aligned to the Riga-based team. Applications must be submitted in English.
