IT Systems Automation Engineering Manager (remote within EMEA)

FYUL is a global company formed in 2024 through the merger of Printful, Printify, and Snow Commerce, providing tech, talent, and infrastructure to support on-demand commerce and merchandising for a wide range of clients from solo creators to entertainment giants.

• 7+ years engineering experience with at least 2 years leading development or technical teams.
• Strong hands-on technical capability, contributing up to 50% of the time.
• Production-level development experience with Python and JavaScript (Node.js) for system automations, middleware, and dashboards.
• Profound understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), API architecture, version control (Git), and CI/CD orchestration.
• Solid grounding in DevOps/SRE principles for software deployments, cloud integrations, and low-code infrastructure.
• Fundamental knowledge of IAM architecture (Least Privilege, RBAC, JIT access) and enterprise federation/provisioning standards (SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Proven experience with workflow engines (e.g., Zapier, Make, N8N).
• General knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Mobile Device Management architectures (e.g., Jamf, Intune), and cloud IAM systems (e.g., Okta, Entra ID).
• Exposure to or strong interest in generative AI tools, LLM APIs, and AI-assisted development (vibe-coding).

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of automation and software development engineers.
• Foster an agile, collaborative culture centered on best software development practices.
• Architect, develop, and maintain automations, internal business applications, and integrations connecting IT platforms and business systems.
• Bridge the gap between engineering rigor and decentralized development.
• Use DevOps/SRE practices to build automated environments for internally-developed and low-code applications.
• Stay hands-on with design, code, and reviews to unblock the team.
• Ensure clear priorities, predictable delivery, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with business, security, and engineering teams to align on requirements, standards, and integrations.
