Mechanical Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent
• 1-3 years of mechanical engineering experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD design using SolidWorks
• Background in manufacturing processes including laboratory and machine shop work
• Experience designing and executing proof-of-concept prototypes
• Understanding of theoretical mechanical engineering principles
• Energetic team player with creative problem-solving abilities
• Curiosity and ability to quickly build knowledge in new technologies and industries
• Ability to learn, adapt, and lead innovation with enthusiasm
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of design for injection molding, material research and selection, mechanism design
• Experience in measurement, experiment design, electromechanical system design
• Familiarity with robotics, mechatronics, and machine vision
• Understanding of dynamics, dimension and tolerance studies, thermal analysis, flow simulation
• Skills in sheet metal design, machined part design, structural frame design
• Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and safety standards such as IEC-61010 and IEC-60601

• Conceptualize, design, and analyze mechanical systems and components
• Develop and execute proof-of-concept prototypes
• Perform testing and analysis to support design decisions and product development
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, software engineers, designers, and human factors engineers
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-engineering colleagues and clients
• Document engineering work for technical and non-technical audiences
• Adapt and recommend mechanical solutions based on project and client needs
• Contribute to laboratory and machine shop work to support prototyping and production efforts
