Technical Writer

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in life sciences, biotech, or SaaS.
• Experience writing documentation for regulated environments or software qualification/validation contexts.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language.
• Familiarity with documentation platforms such as Confluence, GitBook, or similar.
• Experience working effectively within agile software development teams.

Nice to have:

• Prior exposure to Benchling, bioinformatics, or laboratory informatics platforms (LIMS/ELN).

• Create and maintain end-user documentation including user guides, release notes, and FAQs for the Benchling–LatchBio integration.
• Ensure all documentation meets qualification requirements to support validation and QA processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams to gather technical details and produce clear content.
• Continuously review and update documentation to reflect product changes.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards, templates, and version control practices.
• Support qualification processes by ensuring documentation is audit-ready and traceable to requirements.
