Senior Software Engineer

Cloudbeds has a fully remote team of 650+ employees across 40+ countries working on hotel management and payments systems.

• 5+ years of experience in PHP web application software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL, including tuning and optimization.
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing event-driven microservices in PHP or Java.
• Experience with modern infrastructure tools such as DataDog, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and ArgoCD.
• Strong business sense with ability to collaborate with leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
• Dedication to observability using metrics, experiments, and prototypes for data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge and passion for software engineering best practices, design patterns, and automated testing.

Bonus Skills to Stand Out:

• Understanding of secure software engineering in regulated environments; familiarity with PCI-DSS and similar compliance frameworks.
• Experience building large-scale solutions using modern tooling and Domain Driven Design.
• Experience in the Payments domain or travel industry.
