Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform designed to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible. It powers tens of millions of dollars in donations monthly for global nonprofits such as UNICEF and the Alzheimer’s Association. The team is distributed with over 160 product professionals mainly based in Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus.
Wymagania
- 4–7 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience in a software product company.
- End-to-end ownership of a customer-facing product area with Engineering and Design.
- Strong judgment in narrowing large problem spaces and explaining trade-offs.
- Ability to turn customer evidence and product data into decisions.
- Clear written communication for requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decisions.
- Experience with transactional, multi-actor workflows involving permissions, states, money, and data relationships.
- High ownership and independence, fluent written and spoken English.
Strong plus:
- Experience with ticketing, event technology, commerce, POS, payments, marketplaces, registration, auctions, or transaction-heavy products.
- Experience with mobile apps, contactless payments, physical devices, or hardware-enabled workflows.
- Experience with B2B SaaS, fundraising, nonprofits, or operationally complex customer environments.
- Experience launching new product areas via beta or EAP.
- Knowledge of CRM integrations, financial reconciliation, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL.
- Practical experience using AI for research, prototyping, analysis, or product operations.
This Role May Not Be a Fit If:
- Seeking event-planning or internal project-management roles rather than software product ownership.
- Preferring fully defined roadmaps and requirements over collaborative product determination.
- Wanting to avoid specifications, QA, delivery details, or post-launch iteration.
- Treating all customer requests as roadmap commitments.
- Needing stable scope and certainty before progressing.
- Measuring progress mainly by features shipped instead of customer and business outcomes.
Obowiązki
Define the product direction:
- Turn customer research, market evidence, and business context into a clear product thesis and roadmap.
- Choose a focused target segment and event scenario.
- Decide capabilities for shared foundation versus Events-specific model.
- Make explicit build, integrate, partner, or exclusion decisions.
- Keep assumptions, metrics, scope, risks, and decisions visible.
Lead discovery and product definition:
- Work with nonprofit fundraising teams, event operators, finance, volunteers, donors, design partners, and GTM teams.
- Map full workflow before, during, and after events.
- Validate decisions through interviews, observation, prototypes, and usage.
- Distinguish adoption blockers from feature requests.
- Shape problems related to ticket sales, check-in, guest management, commerce, auctions, paddle raises, refunds, reporting, and integrations.
Shape and deliver the product:
- Own product from problem definition through delivery and iteration.
- Write clear requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and decision records.
- Make daily trade-off decisions with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, QA, and GTM.
- Design for real event conditions including staff, volunteers, mobility, hardware, connectivity, volume, and recovery.
- Reuse existing payments, campaign, donor, reporting, CRM, and identity infrastructure.
- Surface dependencies, risks, and unresolved decisions early.
Launch, learn, and drive outcomes:
- Launch via EAPs with clear criteria and success measures.
- Ensure organizations can operate event workflows without manual or disconnected tools.
- Measure attendee purchase, check-in, donation, confirmation, and receipt experiences.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, Support, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
- Connect product evidence to activation, adoption, completion, GPV, expansion, pipeline, retention, and cost.
- Use evidence to recommend iteration, expansion, changes, partnerships, or stopping.
Work AI-native:
- Utilize AI for research synthesis, workflow analysis, prototyping, specification quality, data exploration, and operational automation.
- Build testable artefacts rapidly without outsourcing judgment.
