Middle Java Developer

• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong experience with Java including version upgrades and migration from Java 8 to newer versions
• Hands-on experience with Spring and Tomcat
• Practical experience with jOOQ
• Experience with Java Server Faces (JSF) and PrimeFaces
• Experience working with MS SQL
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with GitHub repositories, CI processes, and code reviews
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English (minimum B2)
• Work from the European Union region and a valid work permit required

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Kafka, Apache Storm, and KSQL
• Experience with asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with SOAP
• Basic knowledge of AWS, especially services like S3
• Experience applying GenAI in structured workflows within SDLC
• Interest and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices such as agent-based workflows and AI-augmented development

• Developing and maintaining backend applications focusing on REST API development
• Participating in migration from Java 8 to newer versions including Java 21/25
• Designing and implementing solutions using Java, Spring, and jOOQ
• Working within a platform of multiple services communicating via REST APIs, with increasing asynchronous communication
• Using Kafka and other messaging technologies as part of platform evolution
• Contributing to CI/CD processes and code reviews
• Collaborating to improve existing systems and deliver new functionality
