Senior Java Engineer

TPConnects is a leading travel technology company with a rapidly growing engineering hub in Warsaw. The company builds software powering modern airline retailing, processing millions of ticket purchases every month. TPConnects is a product company that owns and continuously improves its platform, offering engineers opportunities to influence architecture and technical decisions. The team is international, with English as the everyday language.

• 5+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, clean code, and testing.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and ideally NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Experience with distributed systems.
• Event-driven architecture.

• Design, build and maintain scalable Java backend services.
• Develop new platform capabilities while improving performance and reliability of existing systems.
• Build and enhance integrations with airline and travel industry partners.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and continuously improve system quality.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineers to design technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge across the team.
