Windows Platform Engineer

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in administration and engineering of Windows Server environments.
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server 2019, 2022, and 2025, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills in PowerShell.
• Practical experience with SCCM, especially in patch management and configuration.
• Experience in infrastructure automation, CI/CD processes, working with Git and Jira.
• Good knowledge of hybrid environments, including on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms like Azure and GCP.
• Familiarity with infrastructure areas such as networking, storage, virtualization, backup, failover clustering, and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting and failure diagnosis skills.
• Very good English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with automation based on AI or concepts of self-healing infrastructure.
• Microsoft certifications related to Windows Server.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python or other programming languages.

• Redesigning and improving Windows patch management processes using SCCM.
• Designing and implementing infrastructure automation with PowerShell and CI/CD.
• Creating and maintaining Group Policies (GPO) and Windows security baselines.
• Acting as a specialist for Windows OS and providing expert knowledge on Active Directory, networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Supporting creation and automated deployment of new Windows system images.
• Supporting migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Collaborating closely with the Platform Owner and Scrum team on backlog and platform improvement.
• Advanced troubleshooting and administrative support for Windows Server environments.
• Creating technical documentation for engineers, architects, and end users.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to increase automation, stability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Working under the SAFe/Scrum delivery model.
