AI & Analytics Engineer

Welcome to Group Technology at Nordea Bank ABP, where engineering solutions drive the bank's transformation by providing a structured understanding of technology and the business environment to enable customer vision and business strategy. The Insights Analytics & Engineering team consists of 20+ skilled professionals working in an Agile setup within Technology Services & Operations to deliver digital solutions for better decision-making, operational stability, and performance across Nordea's operations.

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric
• Proficiency in SQL (preferably T-SQL), data modeling, and DAX
• Experience working with data platforms like MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Dataverse or similar
• Experience building or contributing to AI-enabled solutions using platforms like Copilot Studio, Snowflake Cortex, or similar
• Experience designing analytical products, dashboards, reports, and decision-support solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments, preferably Scrum or SAFe
• Excellent written and spoken English skills at minimum C1 level
• Master's degree in Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification such as PL-300 or higher

• Build AI and business intelligence analytics solutions including Agentic & Generative AI using Microsoft Fabric, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Snowflake, and Power Platform
• Design and develop dashboards, AI agents, and decision intelligence solutions
• Improve IT operational performance and data-driven decision-making by analyzing and modeling data to identify trends and recommendations
• Partner with stakeholders across Nordea to drive strategic technology initiatives and contribute to the future of analytics and AI
• Enhance, optimize, and troubleshoot existing analytics, reporting, and AI solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance in an Agile (SAFe) environment
