Data Engineer

Scalo delivers software projects and supports business development for partners, utilizing a broad range of IT services including technology consulting, software development, embedded systems, cloud solutions, data management, and dedicated project teams.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience designing and modeling data structures for data warehouses, Data Lakes, and Real-Time/Near Real-Time solutions
• Experience working with environments processing very large data volumes
• Practical experience building 360-degree customer profiles, Customer Golden Record, behavioral aggregates, and Feature Stores
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data flows feeding CRM processes, including batch and event-driven
• Practical knowledge of integrating analytical systems with operational systems and campaign platforms
• Very good knowledge of SQL and query optimization
• Very good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Big Data technologies and modern data storage formats
• Ability to optimally choose database technologies for performance and business requirements
• Knowledge of operation and architecture of Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with orchestration and scheduling tools for processes
• Understanding CRM data specifics, including marketing consents, contact history, and opt-out
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to have:

• Experience in Customer 360 projects
• Experience in data environment migrations
• Knowledge of CRM solution architectures such as Pega, Salesforce, SAS, or Adobe
• Experience in e-commerce, telecommunications, or financial projects

• Provide services in projects related to CRM and advanced data analytics focused on Real-Time Decisioning and Customer 360
• Design, build, and optimize data structures supporting recommendation engines, Next Best Action, and Next Best Activity
• Create data aggregates, 360-degree customer profiles, Customer Golden Record, and structures supporting real-time decision modeling
• Design and develop data flows and integrations between CRM, analytical, and operational systems
• Implement data quality control, validation mechanisms, and resolve data conflicts during processing
• Collaborate with the project team responsible for evolving data architecture and cloud solutions based on Google Cloud Platform
• Work with technologies including Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Kubernetes, SQL, Data Lake, ETL/ELT, Big Data, Real-Time Processing, Feature Store
• Perform the service in a hybrid mode with flexibility, primarily remote with occasional office presence as needed
