Norges Bank has a strategic goal to integrate artificial intelligence into the workday and adopt new technology quickly, securely, responsibly, and value-creating. The project involves creating a vendor-agnostic AI ecosystem with an integration layer and an internal marketplace for AI artifacts. The consultants will be part of the AI & Innovation project, working closely with IT architects, security architects, AI-engineers, data platform teams, governance, legal, AI-Champions, and relevant professional environments.

• Documented experience developing and deploying solutions based on language models, RAG, structured tool calls, and AI agents.
• Solid competence in software development, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development.
• Experience with Databricks and implementing MCP or similar standardized interfaces connecting AI clients to data and tools.
• Good understanding of threats related to generative AI.
• Experience evaluating AI solutions, including quality, robustness, traceability, cost, performance, and benefits.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, privacy, and information security; experience in regulated or public sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate technical choices, risks, and dependencies clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in financial or macroeconomic analysis is a plus.
• Relevant higher education in IT, computer science, informatics, artificial intelligence or equivalent; extensive relevant experience may substitute formal education.

• Develop and maintain secure connectors between AI workspaces and bank data, tools, and systems, preferably based on open standards like MCP.
• Develop reusable AI capabilities, RAG solutions, agents, and agent flows for publication and management in the bank's internal marketplace.
• Deliver technical solutions and documentation, and transfer competence to internal teams.
• Collaborate with professional environments to identify, prioritize, and realize AI use cases with demonstrable benefits and clear ownership.
• Facilitate technical meetings and guide AI-Champions and other employees in the safe and responsible use of solutions.
• Assist in planning network meetings, lead workshops, and share experiences focused on solving and presenting concrete use cases.
