IT & OT Specialist

Displate is a company with a production facility in Marki/Louisville, recognized by Forbes as a valuable e-commerce company in Poland and a “Digital Champion CEE” from 2021 onward. The role involves maintaining the IT ecosystem supporting production with responsibility across IT/OT architecture and industrial network standards.

• Practical knowledge of IT/OT architecture and industrial network standards
• Experience in projects combining business systems (IT) with industrial automation (OT)
• Knowledge of MS Terminal Services, Active Directory, EntraID, Linux, and IT networks
• Organizational and communication skills

Core responsibilities:

• Understand the IT landscape of the Marki/Louisville production facility including network segments, tunnels, servers, and production systems
• Troubleshoot and triage issues by identifying the problem layer (network, host, application/database, machine vendor)
• Act as incident manager for production-impacting issues, assessing impact and priority and owning incidents until closed
• Delegate issues to accountable parties, ensuring engagement and resolution
• Keep stakeholders informed with status updates and outage notices
• Coordinate with the Polish IT Operations team to ensure knowledge transfer and global standards adherence
• Provide day-to-day user support for factory equipment

Ecosystem Understanding & Troubleshooting:

• Maintain an updated on-premise IT landscape map both mentally and documented
• Perform hands-on fault narrowing and testing to identify responsible owners
• Explain faults to plant/business and technical teams appropriately

Incident Management & Delegation:

• Own production-affecting incidents end to end including intake, prioritization, workarounds, delegation, and closure
• Escalate issues when necessary and maintain stakeholder communication

Vendor & Partner Coordination:

• Liaise daily with network partners, IT partners, production system vendors, and ISPs
• Define, schedule, and verify partner work
• Manage partner access to infrastructure and push for monitoring and alerting improvements

Operational Ownership of Production IT:

• Ensure availability of site LAN/Wi-Fi, VPN tunnels, remote access, network shares, and NAS
• Manage access administration for production and on-prem resources
• Oversee shop-floor endpoints and peripherals
• Maintain operational documentation, checklists, and inventory

Exclusions:

• Not responsible for device-level infrastructure fixes, network architectural design, production system development or administration of Microsoft 365, vendor contract or budget management, people management, or physical hardware repairs.
