Wymagania
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong expertise in modern C++ development.
- Solid understanding of Linux OS, including development tools, debugging, performance analysis, and environment configuration.
- Experience leading software development teams and mentoring engineers.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Very good English skills, both spoken and written.
- Ability and willingness to work from the office 5 days per week.
Nice to have:
- Experience in automotive, energy, or telecommunication industries.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems, networking protocols, or multithreaded applications.
- Knowledge of Python or Bash scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.
- Previous experience working with distributed international teams.
- Basel experience is a plus.
Obowiązki
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional development.
- Define and drive technical direction, architecture decisions, and development best practices.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality C++ applications and libraries.
- Coordinate development activities, prioritize tasks, and track progress using Jira.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, testers, and integration engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure software quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering excellence across the team.
- Support estimation, planning, risk identification, and technical decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to development processes, tools, and team collaboration.
- Work within Linux environments, utilizing build systems.
