Citi is a global financial institution with a Risk Technology Team focused on delivering solutions to the Rates Trading desks and maintaining risk technology solutions for Rates and FX businesses.

• 8+ years of experience in modern Java development with strong Spring Boot and Microservices skills
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Excellent understanding of distributed system design, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and MongoDB
• Experience with high availability, resiliency, and low-latency applications is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Monitor and control all phases of development including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes
• Operate with limited supervision, exercising independent judgment and autonomy
• Act as subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and other team members
• Assess risk appropriately when business decisions are made and ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policies
