Jira Administrator

We are looking for a Jira Administrator to join a project for a large international client from the fintech / banking sector. The client develops and maintains technology solutions for the financial industry, with IT teams working in an international environment.

• Hands-on experience with Jira
• Good understanding of workflows, custom fields, permissions, and automation
• Knowledge of JQL
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve issues
• Understanding user needs and suggesting solutions rather than just implementing configurations
• Comfortable working with development, QA, and business teams
• English language proficiency to work confidently in an international environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with Confluence
• Knowledge of Jira Service Management
• Experience with REST API and integrations
• Familiarity with tools or plugins extending Atlassian capabilities
• Experience with Atlassian Cloud or Data Center
• Basic scripting skills or experience with advanced automations

• Administering and developing the Jira environment
• Configuring projects, workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and notifications
• Creating and improving automations
• Supporting users and teams in their day-to-day work with Jira
• Analysing requests and resolving issues related to platform configuration
• Gathering team requirements and translating them into practical solutions
• Developing dashboards, filters, and reporting
• Supporting Jira integrations with other tools
• Maintaining a clean, secure, and consistent Jira configuration
• Collaborating with international technical and business teams
