Programming Manager

Wirtualna Polska Media operates in the media, advertising, and e-commerce sectors, creating content, services, and entertainment that reach millions of Poles daily. The role is part of the Telewizja WP team.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the television or VOD industry in roles related to programming strategy, content selection, and schedule building.
• Advanced knowledge of the Polish TV and VOD market, competitors, and current programming trends in lifestyle, documentary, and fiction genres.
• Ability to select programs and make sound decisions regarding content acquisition and scheduling.
• Practical knowledge of the Arianna tool for audience measurement and the ability to derive insights from detailed viewership analyses.
• Creativity in seeking new trends and directions in programming development.
• Very good command of English.

• Co-create the long-term programming strategy for Telewizja WP, covering programming plans and internal and external productions.
• Select programs for broadcast and perform editorial preparation.
• Create the monthly channel schedule considering viewership results, licensing requirements, and competition.
• Supervise productions, including participation in production approvals (kolaudacje).
• Manage the content and schedule of the Kabaret TV channel.
• Prepare reports and cooperate with the National Broadcasting Council (Krajowa Rada Radiofonii i Telewizji).
• Set programming priorities supporting promotional activities.
• Analyze viewership results and translate data into programming recommendations.
• Monitor TV trends in Poland and worldwide.
