Engineering Manager

ClickMeeting is a Gdańsk-based company developing a global webinar and online meetings platform used by millions worldwide. The product supports 10 languages and hosted over one million online events in 2025. The team consists of about 80 people working in a dynamic environment focused on continuous product and personal development.

• Experience as Tech Lead, Architect, or Team Leader.
• Minimum 3 years of senior-level experience actively developing software with ongoing coding involvement.
• Knowledge of at least one modern frontend and one backend framework for TypeScript.
• Daily use of tools like Claude Code (or Cursor).
• Writing unit, integration, and e2e tests before production code designing architecture accordingly.
• Experience with WebSockets under high load and frontend performance optimization.
• Experience in distributed architecture and deploying services on Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with document-oriented databases (NoSQL).
• Nice to have: commercial knowledge of Go (Golang), experience with WebRTC and HTML5 Canvas, work in Trunk-Based Development model.
• Strong efficiency in completing programming tasks.
• Knowledge about effective work with legacy code.
• Ability to teach and verify appropriate task estimations by the team.
• Focus on iterative delivery of business value by the team.
• Attention to quality, time, cost, and security of solutions developed.
• Strong business orientation and proactive cooperation with business to propose adequate IT solutions.
• Advanced leadership skills for assessing team member competencies, providing valuable feedback, supporting development, and mentoring.
• Proficient in Polish (minimum C1) and good command of English (minimum B2).

• Collaborate closely with business to understand organizational goals and co-create product and technology roadmaps.
• Make key contextual technical decisions for your team, including implementing AI solutions and fostering AI competencies.
• Support the team throughout the software development process as a mentor and partner.
• Ensure high quality of delivered solutions covering technical standards, security, and privacy requirements.
• Build a work environment based on engagement, responsibility, collaboration, and continuous development.
• Assist the team in task complexity estimation and development planning.
• Shape the approach to managing technical debt and maintaining legacy systems.
• Independently execute programming tasks ranging from daily improvements to complex architectural challenges.
• Establish effective cooperation with other teams by clarifying shared responsibilities.
• Utilize tools such as Youtrack, Miro, GitLab, Grafana/Kibana/Sentry, Claude, Slack, and ClickMeeting in daily work.
