Lead/Senior UE5 Developer

Garage Monkeys S.A. is the creator of the game Car Dealer Simulator and a small independent financially self-sustaining team of enthusiasts continuing the support and development of the project.

• Minimum two years of experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of C++
• Good knowledge of Blueprint system
• Good knowledge of Chaos Vehicle System
• Ability to work independently and organize work of self and programming team
• Build advanced gameplay-related systems from scratch
• Experience with product optimization
• Knowledge of Insights profiling tool
• Well-developed problem-solving skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of Unreal Engine 5
• Completed and released project in portfolio
• Knowledge of English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SVN version control system
• Knowledge of Steam API (Achievements, Cards, Cloud Saving, etc.)
• Knowledge of game market and current trends
• Knowledge of shader creation
• Knowledge of Multiplayer

• Program games in Unreal Engine 5 by creating and developing mechanics and systems
• Build and handle Steam Works updates and changes
• Monitor and optimize game performance
• Debugging and bug fixing
• Collaborate with producers, designers, and programmers
• Communicate with team members about planned development work
• Create and maintain documentation related to created systems
