QA Engineer

Physitrack PLC is the employer offering a QA Engineer role, focusing on testing web and mobile applications for iOS and Android in a fully remote position from Poland.

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on web application testing experience with focus on root cause analysis
• Practical test automation experience with Playwright or comparable frameworks
• Ability to read and reason about API contracts and payloads
• Ability to query databases using SQL and use API inspection tooling
• Experience with practical mobile testing distinguishing platform conventions from defects
• Experience collaborating with Design and Product on improving specifications
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Polish and English at C2/native level

Nice to have:

• Experience testing in regulated or healthcare-adjacent domains
• Experience with device farms or cloud device labs like BrowserStack or Firebase Test Lab
• Experience triaging using crash and error monitoring tools such as Sentry or Crashlytics
• Accessibility testing experience (WCAG)

• Test web applications end to end, including frontend behavior and backend responses
• Test mobile applications on iOS and Android against device and OS matrices
• Own and maintain the Playwright automated test suite for the web
• Investigate test failures and fix test flakiness
• Verify API requests, responses, payloads, status codes, and backward compatibility
• Query the database directly for validation
• Pressure-test specifications with Product, Design, and Engineering before development
• Debug issues to root cause and provide actionable bug reports
• Reproduce and triage customer issues that reach engineering
• Keep test plans and known-issue lists updated
• Use AI daily to reduce repetitive work and improve quality, including making small code fixes
