Poufne_Network & Security Administrator

For our client specializing in designing, implementing, and maintaining modern cloud environments mainly for manufacturing companies.

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in network/security
• Good knowledge of networking: routing and switching (L2/L3), subnetting, OSPF
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID for user identity management and authentication
• Experience with firewalls: configuring rules and policies; basic NAT knowledge; understanding of stateful vs stateless firewalls
• VPN knowledge: IPSec basics; understanding of Phase 1/Phase 2; split tunneling
• Knowledge of IAM concepts
• Basic security knowledge: Zero Trust, IDS/IPS, SASE/SSE or DLP
• Experience working in hybrid environments - cloud and on-premises
• Problem-solving skills: log analysis (firewall, VPN), basic DNS and routing, diagnosing application access issues
• English language proficiency at B2+ level

Nice to have:

• Experience working with clients or in SLA environments
• Hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
• Experience with Cisco Meraki
• Experience with Aruba Networks
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Experience with XDR
• Experience in managed services
• German language knowledge

• Maintaining and developing network & security environments
• Configuring firewalls, VPNs, and security policies
• Analyzing network traffic and resolving network, DNS, and VPN problems
• Working with solutions including Zscaler, Cisco, Fortinet, Check Point, Azure, and Aruba
• Monitoring the environment and responding to incidents
• Administering user identities and permissions in Microsoft Entra ID environment
• Implementing security standards such as Zero Trust with least privilege, continuous verification, micro-segmentation, and identity-based security in network and cloud environments
• Collaborating with technical teams and clients
