Audio/Video Manual Tester

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in QA/testing roles with primary hands-on testing of video and/or audio products.
• Advanced experience working in embedded Linux and Android environments.
• Strong cross-platform testing skills (Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS) focusing on audio/video functionality.
• Understanding of AV codecs, streaming protocols, and multimedia performance metrics.
• Knowledge of USB, Bluetooth, and Wifi/Ethernet protocols.
• Proven ability to clearly document test results and communicate findings effectively.

Nice to have:

• Experience using AI tools in daily workflow.
• Experience with network sniffers like Wireshark and debugging tools like ADB for embedded and cross-platform issues.
• Programming skills in Python and Bash for test automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation frameworks for video/audio product testing.
• Bash scripting knowledge for task automation in Linux/embedded environments.

Video & Audio Solution Testing (Primary Focus):

• Lead hands-on testing of video and audio products such as cameras, microphones, and conferencing systems.
• Analyze, design, and execute test scenarios focused on real-world audio/video usage.
• Assess streaming quality, feature sets, and cross-platform integration.
• Collaborate actively with product teams to set and maintain quality standards for multimedia devices.

Embedded & Cross-Platform Testing:

• Execute testing of multimedia device performance in embedded Linux and Android environments, and Windows, macOS, Linux, and ChromeOS systems.
• Validate device connectivity with emphasis on AV quality over USB, Bluetooth, and Wifi/Ethernet.

Test Planning & Execution:

• Review requirements and specifications to develop comprehensive test coverage, prioritizing audio/video features.
• Maintain and execute detailed test cases to evaluate AV quality and product risk.
• Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports on product quality.
