Data Governance Specialist

Infinite Services is an IT services company specializing in building cutting-edge data platforms for large enterprises worldwide. They provide solutions that help global corporations stay ahead in a fast-changing digital landscape. The role supports a strategic data transformation project for a large Polish organization.

• 8+ years of professional experience in IT, data, technology, or related areas.
• Significant practical experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Strategy, or related data-focused areas.
• Experience designing, implementing, or improving Data Governance processes, operating models, or frameworks.
• Proven track record of hands-on implementation and delivery.
• Strong understanding of organizational processes, operating models, roles, ownership, and accountability.
• Experience with data organizations, data platforms, BI environments, data products, or analytical solutions.
• Understanding of information security, data security, risk, or compliance-related topics.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, especially working with senior management.
• Excellent consulting and communication skills; ability to operate independently as expert and advisor.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build support for change.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with practical hands-on approach.
• Ability to translate Data Governance concepts into concrete processes, responsibilities, and business outcomes.
• Fluent in Polish and English.

• Assess the organization's current data management approach and identify governance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Design and implement a practical Data Governance operating model tailored to business and organizational structure.
• Develop a Data Governance strategy and roadmap considering maturity, priorities, and constraints.
• Define and establish governance processes including data ownership, roles and responsibilities, data requirements management, decision-making and escalation paths, prioritization and budgeting, stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Help establish clear ownership and accountability for data, data products, and analytical solutions.
• Review and improve data-related initiative processes regarding initiation, prioritization, funding, and delivery.
• Identify and flag data, information security, and governance risks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with business, data, IT, security, and management stakeholders to build alignment and ownership.
• Develop and communicate a strong business case for Data Governance to the organization.
• Support building visibility and organizational support for the data function including senior management communication.
• Act as a trusted Data Governance subject-matter expert and advisor providing practical recommendations.
• Help establish foundations for Data Governance as a sustainable part of the organization's operating model.

8. Przewiduje się przekazywanie danych do państw trzecich (np. w przypadku rekrutacji zagranicznych).
9.
