DevOps Engineer (m/f/n)

The position supports a project delivered for a European Union organization based in Warsaw. The project is strategic for a European institution related to security and border control activities and aims to develop new generation systems for real-time incident reporting and dissemination.

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, preferably for large organizations.
• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps services, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts, and automated build, testing, packaging, and deployment processes.
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), environment management, deployment automation, configuration management, and cloud-based development.
• Good knowledge of Node.js, C#/.NET, GraphQL, and modern software development practices including object-oriented and functional programming.
• Knowledge of microservices, micro-frontend architecture, and Single Page Applications (SPA), including their integration, deployment, scalability, and operations.
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments, ability to collaborate, share knowledge, support, and guide teams.
• Excellent command of English at minimum C1 level.

• Designing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines with risk, dependency, and issue management.
• Defining automated workflows for code compilation, quality checks, security scanning, testing, packaging, and deployment across different environments.
• Configuring and maintaining development, testing, staging, and production environments, supporting infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Establishing monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and recovery procedures while applying DevSecOps principles and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Supporting analysts and development teams with technical requirements, deployment/integration challenges, release strategies, environment coordination, and documenting DevOps processes.
