Lead Writer

Rebel Wolves is a new game development studio located in Warsaw, Poland, made up of industry veterans. They are working on an AAA dark fantasy RPG, the first title in a planned saga set in a new universe.

• Excellent writing skills with documented successes
• Native or near-native fluency in English
• Experience in team management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a writer/narrative designer in the video game industry with a track record of achievement
• Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, UE) and dialogue writing tools
• Ability to create interactive, non-linear stories and dialogues
• Ability to adapt stories to gameplay and technical requirements without sacrificing writing quality
• Basic IT fluency
• Passion for video games and strong work ethic

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with the history and folklore of Central and Eastern Europe
• Experience writing in other media (e.g., movies, comic books, novels)
• Fluency in Polish

• Managing, providing feedback, and supporting the Writers Team
• Collaborating closely with the Narrative Director and other Team Leads
• Reviewing and improving story pitches, outlines, and dialogs
• Crafting stories and writing dialogues
• Writing cutscene and CGI scripts
• Writing in-game documents and internal documentation
• Ensuring lore consistency and expanding the new IP
• Collaborating with PR/Marketing and Localization
• Working with VO artists and directors
