Senior Site Reliability Engineer

ShiftKey is a healthcare technology company addressing staffing shortages in America’s healthcare system through a platform that connects healthcare facilities with licensed professionals. The company operates two products: a SaaS platform and a two-sided marketplace platform, both under strict regulatory requirements.

• Substantial hands-on experience running production infrastructure in the cloud, including container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code.
• Ability to debug real incidents under pressure beyond following runbooks.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in at least one general-purpose language.
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and make/defend judgment calls without constant oversight.
• Experience mentoring other engineers.

• Taking ownership of reliability, availability, and operational health for a regulated healthcare marketplace platform.
• Mentoring a mid-level engineer and helping shape the reliability function as it grows.
• Working across cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Writing production automation with daily scripting.
• Partnering with a sibling engineering team to become fully independent in platform support.
