Data Engineer (GCP / Data Quality)

Banking industry project focused on ensuring data quality in source systems using Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience in data quality projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within project teams and with business stakeholders
• Ability to quickly adapt to client environments
• Experience building cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Practical knowledge in designing and implementing data processing and system integration
• Experience with Dataplex, Dataproc, Composer (Airflow), BigQuery
• Knowledge of DBT
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL
• Ability to independently create and develop applications and integration components in cloud environments
• Experience working with GitHub repositories
• Knowledge of Google Artifact Registry
• Attention to compliance with technical and architectural standards

• Participate in a project ensuring the quality of source data
• Identify data quality issues and analyze their causes
• Analyze business processes and define validation rules
• Implement mechanisms to improve data quality
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to eliminate data error sources
• Build data validation processes on the New Data Platform
• Design and implement cloud and data platform solutions
• Support organizational initiatives related to modern data & cloud solutions
• Execute tasks following adopted technical and architectural standards
