Cloud Hosting Engineer (Kubernetes)

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and containerized environments like AKS; knowledge of OpenShift is a plus.<br>- Experience contributing to on-premises to Azure migrations and modernization beyond lift-and-shift.<br>- Proficiency in automating deployments and operations using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.<br>- Strong Linux administration skills for managing cloud workloads and containerized applications.<br>- Experience with containerization, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.<br>- Understanding of Azure networking, security, and best practices for designing scalable and highly available cloud solutions.

• Work with Cloud Operation Engineers and Cloud Hosting Engineers to advance cloud modernization projects beyond lift-and-shift.<br>- Deploy, manage, and administer containerized environments including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS); knowledge of OpenShift is a plus.<br>- Containerize applications running on VMs and support migrations to Azure PaaS services where appropriate.<br>- Ensure smooth operation, configuration, and troubleshooting of workloads on Linux systems in cloud environments.<br>- Collaborate across teams to implement best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and performance in Azure cloud projects.<br>- Automate deployment and operational processes using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and other tools.<br>- Work closely with the Cloud Hosting Engineering Manager, Cloud Center of Excellence Lead, Cloud Hosting Engineers, CloudOps Engineers, CloudOps Team Lead, and Security Architect.
