BI Data Engineer

Holisticon Connect is a division within NEXER GROUP, a custom software development company started in Poland in 2017 with a team of over 140 people. The company collaborates with world-renowned brands from Scandinavia, the UK, and Western Europe.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence including end-to-end Power BI development involving requirements gathering, data modeling, and report/dashboard deployment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including extensive use of Power Query Editor and DAX.
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS and/or Snowflake.
• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data access, and data storage concepts.
• Experience with AI-related tools like Visual Studio and Codex.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases.
• Experience working in both low-code and high-code ETL environments.
• Basic knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and code management.
• Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Must have been located in Poland for at least 5 years.

• Deliver reports and dashboards based on data from multiple sources.
• Support key business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Aftermarket.
• Collaborate closely with business users and technical teams.
• Use tools including Git, Agile methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of different storage modes.
• Optimization of DAX code.
• Experience in low and high code ETL environments such as Matillion and Azure Data Factory.

Candidate must be located in Poland for at least 5 years.
