Senior Full Stack Engineer

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, a leading global R&D services company with more than 11,000 professionals, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Vue.js, Python, and Django. The role supports a client that is a direct marketplace for mortgages, connecting lenders and investors with automated eligibility and transaction management, transforming an industry reliant on spreadsheets and email.

• 5+ years of experience building production software with proficiency across both front-end and back-end.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Strong skills in Python and Django, including REST API design and database schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
• Experience working in complex platform companies with real integrations, data, and scale.
• Strong eye for UI/UX design and effective communication skills.

• Build features across the stack using Vue 3 + TypeScript on the front-end and Django + Django REST Framework on the back-end.
• Evolve core engines for loan pricing and investor eligibility matching.
• Integrate with mortgage ecosystem platforms including LOS, due diligence, credit, and valuation vendors.
• Design data models and background pipelines optimized for performance at scale.
• Write tests using pytest, Vitest, and Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Daily hands-on work with AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
• Build AI-powered product features including LLM features, agents, retrieval, and evaluation.
