Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in backend or web application development.
• Experience in independently designing and delivering applications, major functionalities, or backend solutions.
• Very good knowledge of Python and practical experience with Django, Django REST Framework, and FastAPI.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Ability to model business logic and dependencies across modules, processes, services, and data.
• Ability to assess system-wide impact of changes and write readable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Experience in designing REST APIs and integrating with external systems.

Data:

• Good knowledge of SQL and practical experience with PostgreSQL and Django ORM.
• Ability to design data models, optimize queries, and perform safe migrations.
• Experience in data processing and building or maintaining ETL/ELT processes.

Quality and Security:

• Practical experience writing unit, integration, and API tests as well as conducting code reviews.
• Knowledge of basic web application, API security, authentication, authorization, and access control.

Cloud, DevOps, and Maintenance:

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD processes, and working with Git and Linux.
• Practical experience with Docker and deploying applications on Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Helm and configuration for different Kubernetes environments.
• Ability to use logs, monitoring, diagnostic tools, and analyze environmental or production issues.

Language:

• English enabling smooth work with technical documentation and project communication.

Application Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications in Python using Django, Django REST Framework, and FastAPI.
• Design modular architecture, clear API contracts, and responsibility boundaries between components.
• Model complex business logic, rules, validations, and dependencies between processes, data, modules, and systems.
• Analyze the impact of changes on existing functionalities, integrations, and data, limiting regression risks.
• Apply software engineering principles, design patterns, and practices supporting readability, testability, reliability, and system evolution.
• Refactor code, modernize solutions, and manage technical debt deliberately.

Solution Design and Business Collaboration:

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into coherent solutions.
• Select technologies and implementation methods suitable for the problem, scale, security, and maintenance costs.
• Prepare technical recommendations, effort estimates, and identify risks and dependencies.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, frontend developers, devops, administrators, and business users.

Data, API, and Integrations:

• Design data models and develop solutions using PostgreSQL and Django ORM.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, migrations, and data import, export, and transformation processes.
• Design and develop ETL/ELT processes and control data correctness and consistency.
• Integrate with external systems, handle authentication, authorization, errors, retries, and service unavailability.

Quality, Security, and Maintenance:

• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and develop programming standards.
• Apply web application, API, and data security best practices.
• Analyze logs, diagnose environmental and production issues, and optimize performance.

Cloud, DevOps, and Deployment:

• Work with cloud solutions such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understand DevOps concepts and collaborate on automation of building, testing, and deploying applications within CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerize applications using Docker and prepare and maintain deployment configurations for Kubernetes.
• Use Helm for creating or modifying charts, environment values, and configuration needed for repeatable deployments.
• Collaborate on environment configuration, application parameters, monitoring, and deployment diagnostics.

AI and Agent Systems Usage:

• Utilize AI tools and programming agents for supporting requirements analysis, code creation and review, refactoring, testing, problem diagnosis, and preparing technical documentation.
• Design and develop solutions leveraging AI, language models, and agent systems integrated with APIs, tools, data sources, and business processes.
• Explore and evaluate AI and machine learning applications for process automation, user support, data analysis, and new business functionalities.

Team Development:

• Mentor and provide technical support to less experienced developers.
• Lead technical discussions, create technical documentation, justify decisions, and share knowledge.
