Senior DevOps Engineer - Checkmarx

• 5+ years of experience administering and operating application security platforms such as Checkmarx
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, including scan execution and integration troubleshooting
• Experience with the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development
• Vendor management skills including issue escalation and coordination on feature requests and timelines
• Experience in operational incident handling and recovery
• Knowledge of platform administration including configuration management, upgrades, and maintenance
• Capability to evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate their adoption

• Manage central configuration of the Checkmarx platform and ensure smooth day-to-day operation
• Handle upgrades and maintenance activities to maintain platform reliability
• Investigate and resolve issues reported by users
• Troubleshoot scan execution in CI/CD pipelines
• Act on operational incidents including recovery efforts
• Communicate with Checkmarx vendors regarding issues, feature requests, and timelines
• Participate in regular vendor meetings and escalate critical issues
• Contribute to the SAP Piper pipeline solution, including bug fixes and feature development
• Configure and troubleshoot scan integrations
• Suggest improvements related to monitoring, tooling, and features
• Evaluate new product capabilities and coordinate adoption plans
• Validate vendor fixes and patches prior to production deployment and provide feedback influencing product roadmap discussions
