Senior Devops Engineer

Physitrack PLC builds digital health software used by clinicians, physiotherapists and employers in over 100 countries. Their products include Physitrack (exercise prescription, telehealth and patient engagement) and Champion Health (workplace wellbeing), running on a multi-region AWS platform serving Europe, the UK, North America, Australia and the Middle East. The company is ISO 27001:2022 certified, addressing healthcare data constraints such as data residency, auditability, and low downtime tolerance.

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering with substantial AWS experience
• Production experience with Kubernetes, ideally EKS
• Strong skills in Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Experience running real database migrations or provider cutovers with verification
• Comfortable with Linux, containers, and GitOps
• Proficient in scripting with Python, Go, Bash or similar; able to debug across the stack
• English proficiency at professional working level

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
• Experience in cost optimisation or FinOps at scale
• Background in regulated industries such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR
• Experience with infrastructure consolidation after acquisitions
• Polish language skills

• Run and evolve multi-region AWS and EKS platform managed as code in Terraform and deployed through ArgoCD
• Own CI/CD across repositories using CircleCI and GitHub Actions
• Lead infrastructure migrations: containerize applications, move databases between providers and regions, implement verification and rollback plans
• Manage production scale PostgreSQL and RDS, including upgrades, sizing, and performance tuning
• Maintain and upgrade Ruby on Rails runtime, including autoscaling and performance tuning
• Own cloud cost optimization, autoscaling, savings plan utilization, and monthly cost reporting
• Conduct disaster recovery testing and incident readiness drills
• Act as infrastructure contact for engineering, security, and commercial teams
