Agile Delivery Lead

• Proven experience as Delivery Manager, Agile Delivery Lead, Agile Coach, or similar in multi-team, multi-vendor enterprise settings.
• Led at least one end-to-end transformation including designing and implementing ways of working.
• Strong command of agile delivery mechanics: backlog design, estimation, story points, sprint cadence, refinement, retrospectives, flow metrics.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent tools like Jira, including backlog architecture, work-item hierarchy, boards, queries, and reporting.
• Experience balancing business-as-usual with project and initiative delivery in a shared capacity pool.
• Ability to prioritise competing stakeholders and make allocation decisions stick.
• Outcome-oriented planning experience with OKRs, quarterly or 90-day planning cycles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills at IT management level.
• Fluent English, written and spoken as the working language of the project.

Nice to have:

• Experience in pharma, life sciences, or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with GxP, CSV, and GAMP 5 validation processes.
• Exposure to Veeva Vault or comparable regulatory/document management platforms.
• Experience with platform-vendor release calendars and external implementation partners.
• Background in data/interface delivery including database views and integrations.
• Experience introducing automation or AI capabilities into delivery landscapes.
• Relevant certifications such as SAFe, PSM/CSM, ICAgile, PMI-ACP.

• Map the current ways of working across all teams, vendors, and delivery areas.
• Identify overlaps, bottlenecks, priority conflicts, and unclear ownership between core teams and parallel streams.
• Present findings and prioritised improvement roadmap to Governance and stakeholders.
• Define coexistence of business-as-usual work and project work in one delivery system.
• Decide and implement backlog structure in ADO/VDO or equivalent tools including classification and flow.
• Establish a prioritisation framework across competing demands.
• Design capacity and people-allocation models to prevent priority clashes and over-commitment.
• Re-establish sprint cadence, estimation, story points, refinement, sprint planning, and review.
• Introduce planning in 90-day cycles connected to measurable business outcomes.
• Run and improve retrospectives to generate tracked change.
• Coach alongside Unit Lead, Squad Leads, BAs, and vendor teams in the flow of work.
• Document target operating model, cadences, roles, and metrics.
• Build capability in existing leadership to maintain system without ongoing involvement.
