Machine Learning Engineer

PKO BP Finat operates in the banking sector, focusing on predictive modeling supporting CRM processes. The role involves working with large data volumes and modern cloud technologies.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in predictive modeling in the banking sector. • Experience working with data and models supporting CRM processes (marketing, sales, campaigns). • Practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components: BigQuery, AI/Vertex AI Notebooks, MLflow, DataProc, Airflow, DataFlow. • Experience applying good MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML models). • Very good knowledge of Python and data analysis tools. • Experience processing data in distributed environments (Spark/PySpark). • Very good knowledge of SQL (preferably BigQuery). • Experience working with very large datasets and near real-time data processing solutions. • Higher education degree (quantitative, technical, or related fields).

Nice to have:

• Experience building and deploying solutions based on GenAI and LLM.
• Knowledge of tools for building analytical applications (e.g., Streamlit).

• Build and develop NLP models including deep learning, transformers, large language models using PyTorch. • Design and implement ML/AI models for classification, regression, spatial analysis (GEO), and social networks from prototyping to production deployment. • Maintain, monitor, and evaluate models over time (Model Lifecycle Management / “model factory”). • Identify and detect high predictive value events in customer data. • Develop and optimize data flows and ML pipelines using Airflow and DataFlow. • Optimize decision engines supporting campaign lead distribution in CRM. • Participate in innovation initiatives, especially in hyperpersonalization, GenAI, and R&D experiments. • Collaborate with business (marketing, sales) and IT teams to implement and scale solutions. • Develop and apply standards for MLOps, automation, and model lifecycle management. • Participate in building modeling, validation, and governance standards in a regulated banking environment.
