Senior IT Business Analyst

We are a consulting agency focused on finding and engaging top tech talent for our clients, supporting start-ups, software houses, and enterprises in scaling and transforming their businesses. The role is for the FA Modernization Team working on a project built from scratch for a client from the financial sector, focusing on automating the creation of ServiceNow/ProTech change tickets with integrations around dependency management and DevSecOps processes.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Business Analyst or System-Business Analyst
• Very good knowledge of requirements gathering and requirements analysis
• Practical experience in creating User Stories and Epics
• Good understanding and practical application of INVEST principles
• Experience in creating business models and diagrams using UML
• Practical knowledge of SQL sufficient for data analysis and validation
• Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience working in Scrum and/or Kanban
• Ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to independently conduct analysis and refine requirements
• Experience working in complex IT environments and supporting delivery teams throughout the development lifecycle

• Gathering, analysing and refining business and system requirements
• Translating business needs into clear and actionable User Stories and Epics
• Applying INVEST principles when defining and reviewing requirements
• Supporting the design of a new solution for automation of ServiceNow/ProTech change ticket creation
• Analysing requirements related to integrations with dependency management and DevSecOps processes
• Creating business models and diagrams using UML
• Using SQL to analyse, validate and verify data
• Maintaining and structuring project documentation in Jira and Confluence
• Working closely with business stakeholders, developers and other technical team members
• Supporting the team in clarifying scope, dependencies and acceptance criteria
• Participating in Agile delivery processes using Scrum and/or Kanban
• Independently driving analysis and resolving ambiguities in requirements
