Regulatory Data Specialist (Food / Biology / Chemistry Focus)

GFcomply is a SaaS platform delivering compliance and labelling solutions for the food industry. The Data Team collects, structures, and maintains regulatory data from official sources worldwide. The team operates an automated ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) pipeline built around Claude AI, converting regulations from many geographies, languages, and frameworks into a structured, searchable database.

• 2–4 years experience combining software and customer contact, including manual QA, application support, technical customer success, or implementation on B2B products.
• Excellent written English communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical clients.
• Solid manual testing skills with the ability to systematically break features and document reproduction steps.
• Comfortable using Jira, Zendesk, Postman, reading logs, and working with spreadsheets.
• Strong sense of ownership and following tasks through without prompting.

Nice to have:

• Background in food, FMCG, or compliance.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS environments.

• Take client and supplier queries by email and ticket, analyze issues, and provide clear responses, including joining calls for complex cases.
• Write up genuine problems properly for engineering and translate their answers into plain language for clients.
• Run manual test cycles on new features, fixes, and regressions before each release to catch problems early.
• Design test cases based on requirements and client usage, verify fixes, and close the loop with issue reporters.
• Communicate with clients during incidents and after releases to keep them informed.
