Senior Platform Engineer - Allegro Pay

Allegro Pay is a leading FinTech company in Central Europe focusing on large scale financial solutions handling millions of requests daily and managing large data volumes. The team works with mature engineering practices comparable to major tech companies and includes industry experts and conference speakers.

• Experience with platform engineering, Kubernetes, and GitOps tools (Istio, ArgoCD, Helm).
• Experience with public cloud services, preferably Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Understanding of distributed systems and their design.
• Experience with containerization and cloud computing.
• Willingness to write high-quality code, accept feedback, and share knowledge during code reviews.
• Proactive problem-solving to meet user needs.
• Eagerness to continuously develop skills and expand knowledge.
• English language skills at B2 level or higher.

• Develop and maintain tools for developers.
• Support and improve Kubernetes workloads like Istio and Argo.
• Design and implement high availability on multi-region setups.
• Research new technologies, execute proofs of concept, and prepare analyses.
• Assist developers from product teams by providing tools, automation, and integrations to use the platform efficiently.
