Security Consultant (DevSecOps)

The role is for a Security Consultant working with a client from the Netherlands in the parking solutions industry. The position involves a full-time B2B contract with remote work and possible business trips to Amsterdam.

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity, focusing on DevOps.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and security practices.
• Proficient in vulnerability management and security incident response.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of specific programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud security solutions.
• Relevant certifications in security or DevOps.

• Clear the HackerOne backlog: triage, investigate, fix, and report on accumulated findings.
• Own the security backlog: investigate, fix, report, and maintain security issues.
• Proactively identify and remediate security risks before they escalate.
• Select and implement a platform for continuous security monitoring.
• Act as the go-to security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal teams.
• Shift security posture from reactive to proactive through processes and tools.
• Translate security expertise into the development environment to support best practices.
