Enterprise & Technology Architect

emagine Polska is offering a senior role based in Brussels focused on enterprise and technology architecture within a complex technology landscape involving multiple platforms including custom applications, SaaS solutions, and low/no-code technologies.

• Senior-level experience in Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture.
• Experience assessing complex IT landscapes and defining target architectures.
• Proven ability to evaluate Build vs. Buy vs. Reuse vs. Retire decisions.
• Strong understanding of integration architecture and contemporary application architecture models.
• Knowledge of data modeling and database technologies.
• Pragmatic evaluation of technology options without vendor bias.
• Experience in architecture documentation and presentation to senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in international and multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience with Product Strategy/Product Ownership is advantageous.
• Experience with Agile development and MVP methodologies is highly desirable.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the existing application and technology landscape, business requirements, and decision processes.
• Assess business requirements’ maturity for technology decisions.
• Refine and challenge requirements to prepare them for implementation.
• Evaluate the current technology landscape against business needs to determine strategies to build, buy, reuse, modernize, or retire components.
• Develop and compare viable technology and platform options.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and provide strategic advisory on platform decisions.
• Define target enterprise and integration architectures ensuring alignment across layers.
• Prepare migration strategies from existing to target architecture.
• Support Agile product development life cycle, including MVP delivery.
• Document architectural decisions, create visual diagrams, and present recommendations to stakeholders.

The position is based in Brussels, requires a hybrid working model with regular on-site presence especially during the initial phase. Proficiency in English at B1 level is required. The recruitment process is governed by Polish data protection regulations as stated by emagine as data administrator.
