UX-Designer

“Avspilling og direkte” is one of two teams in NRK TV that delivers the streaming experience to all of Norway. It is a cross-disciplinary team consisting of backend, Apple, Android, smart-TV, and web developers, along with a team/product lead and a designer. The team is responsible for all NRK TV platforms, ensuring accessibility and universal design across devices from mobile screens to living room TVs.

• Experience working with UX design in streaming or media platforms.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Ability to work strategically and analytically.
• Strong understanding and commitment to universal design and accessibility.
• Experience with user testing, interviews, and data-driven design decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including backend and mobile developers.

• Work strategically and analytically to develop streaming experience concepts.
• Translate business goals and user needs into concrete concepts.
• Lead the design process from sketches to final specifications in Figma.
• Ensure design works seamlessly on various devices from mobile to Smart TVs.
• Own universal design and accessibility within the streaming domain.
• Collaborate closely with developers on all platforms in design-QA.
• Plan and perform user tests, interviews, and insight work using qualitative and quantitative data.

The assignment requires one designer only; team offers will not be considered. Data administrator is emagine with rights and data processing details provided in compliance with GDPR. The workplace is in Oslo with physical presence required 4-5 days per week.
