PHP Engineer (F/M) / Inżynier PHP (K/M)

• Experience building and integrating event-driven applications (e.g., RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, Webhooks).
• Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL 8+) and NoSQL for query building and data modeling.
• Practical experience working daily with Docker.
• Experience and knowledge of web application design.
• Experience in designing, versioning, and securing APIs (REST, OAuth, JWT).
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms (Redis, AWS ElastiCache) and application profiling techniques.
• Good knowledge of Git.
• Practical knowledge of layered and hexagonal architecture (ports and adapters).
• Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with static code analysis tools (PHPStan, CSFixer).
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with unit, functional, integration, E2E testing (PHPUnit).
• Familiarity with tools supporting development: PHPStorm, Composer, Xdebug, Sentry, Jira.
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code).

Nice to have:

• Experience in customer verification, AML/KYC, or fintech domains.
• Knowledge of container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of application security best practices (OWASP).

Formal requirements:

• Minimum 3 years commercial programming experience.
• Fluent Polish (advanced or native level).
• English proficiency sufficient for communication with foreign partners.

• Designing and developing systems based on PHP 8+ and Symfony 6+.
• Analyzing business requirements and their impact on system architecture.
• Designing, building, and developing microservices and integrating with external APIs.
• Optimizing performance, code, and architecture.
• Maintaining and refactoring existing code for performance, quality, and best practices compliance.
