• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building, maintaining, and modernizing large-scale frontend applications for broad customer audiences.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React).
• Strong HTML/CSS knowledge with responsive UI skills.
• Strong understanding of state management, accessibility, performance, and security basics.
• Solid grasp of system design and data modeling.
• Strong experience with CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), continuous delivery, safe rollout practices, and improving developer feedback loops.
• Familiarity with deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, MTTR, build reliability, test stability, Apdex, and page performance metrics.
• Experience with Module Federation, federated frontend architectures, or large-scale frontend decomposition.
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Playwright, React Testing Library, or WDIO.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and services.
• Some backend coding experience with Node.js, PHP, or Java.
• Demonstrates ownership mentality and strives for excellence in technical work and team interactions.
• Proficient in English.

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and responsive user experiences using modern frontend technologies.
• Build and modernize key end-user surfaces including homepage, navigation, collections, uploads manager, content metadata, and search.
• Contribute to AI-enabled product experiences.
• Monitor and optimize engineering and user experience metrics such as Apdex, page load times, deployment frequency, and change failure rate.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, release processes, and observability.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) for development acceleration.
• Evolve the web application from a monolithic to modular architecture using Federated Modules / Module Federation.
• Replace manual QA with automated test coverage using tools such as Playwright and related frontend testing frameworks.
• Define and implement engineering standards across product teams.
• Represent and advocate for Box Poland’s engineering excellence internally and externally.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and triage issues.
