Senior Software Engineer, Storage Platform

The role is part of the Storage Clients team, responsible for gateway services that power content upload, download, and collaboration.

• Proficient in backend programming languages such as Java or Scala
• 5+ years of software development experience in distributed systems
• Experience designing, building, and deploying high-quality software
• Passion for building highly available and scalable distributed systems at large scale
• Strong problem-solving skills using data-driven approaches
• Ownership mindset and teamwork skills
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in the English language

Nice to have:

• Experience with email clients, FTP clients, SDKs

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Java or Scala powering content ingress and egress flows
• Model best practices for systems architecture, reliability, scalability, and maintainability
• Plan and execute projects and quarterly deliverables
• Measure system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize accordingly
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and triage issues

Candidates are expected to work from the Warsaw office a minimum of 3 days per week, focusing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This role includes participation in an on-call rotation.
